I've always loved the concept of a design system. Design systems help organizations in bringing out a design consistency throughout their products by re-usable patterns, components, and foundations. Some of my favourite design systems are Segment Evergreen, Atlassian Design system, Zendesk's Garden and Workday's Canvas. I started working on one during my free time and during the weekends. Now after three months, I am publishing a basic design system / react component library "ak-palette". This is a lightweight component library and a design system for react. I started this, to learn a lot about different components, how to build them, design principles, etc. Feel free to check out the documentation on how to use this library.
