I moved into a new apartment in a new neighborhood last year. I can remember how difficult it was to find handymen to assist with repairs to the apartment. I hoped there was an app I could rely on to help me find people who provided the services I needed. However, I had no prior knowledge of any. I then realized that many people needed the services of these contractors within their location, just like I did.
I conducted a survey to confirm this assumption. The result from the survey birthed this work.
This was my first project without a team, therefore I was in charge of designing the entire app. At one time, I felt discouraged and wanted to give up. I'm overjoyed to present you this creation and couldn't be more proud of myself.
This design's completion has undoubtedly dispelled some self-doubt. Definitely, my self-assurance has increased. I can state with confidence that I'm a good UI/UX Designer, despite the fact that I still have a lot to learn. There is always room for growth.
I'm open to working with junior and senior designers in junior UX and product design roles and paid internships.
