Appreciate options in Email products like Mailpoet, where I can set a "here's what new on the blog" email to fire on a certain day each month (but only if there is something new to share). Feels less spammy, more about rewarding people who've given their email to the list with stuff that could be worth their time.
Also am experimenting with yanking transcripts out of Zoom meetings via
Otter.ai and turning them into
meta content for [this particular] blog.
I DO enjoy how it's "low effort" compared to some other forms of content writing. But
more-so digging:
- Being able to turn "day to day" business activities into funky creative things for folks to enjoy
- A "non-markety" way to convey/capture the different voices/personality of startup founders/leaders/team members getting the work done
(Re: #2, much closer to the "sitting at the table listening to interesting people have a conversation" approach I first fell hard for @ the Slate
Movie Club)
