5 Ways Marketers Can Battle Against Consumer's Digital Fatigue🥱

Between social media detoxes, blue-light eye strain, and constantly being served ads, consumers can get pretty sick of the digital world 😷

We all get digital fatigue nowadays (the word webinar might even make some of you groan at this point). But what can we, as marketers, do to combat this in an audience? 💭

Here are 4 tips to battle customer's digital fatigue:

1) Make it Personal 👩 :
The golden rule for most marketing strategies is to personalize it for your user to make it more engaging and customized. There are a lot of ways to do this right, but a great way to start is to break your audience into segments to communicate in specific ways. Ecommerce giants are a master in this - especially their emails!

2) Make it Interactive 🕹 :
There are so many new ways to create interactive, interesting content today. AR, VR, 3D worlds, interactive quizzes, are to name a few. It’s easier said than done, but quality over quantity is your best bet here. Creating too many interactive pieces is just going to continue digital fatigue in your users.

3) Make it Human-Centric 🦸‍♂️ :
It seems like an obvious one, but brands still forget it. Think of all the ways your users could use more direct engagement in your content and see where you can utilize conversational tactics.

4) Calibrate your Marketing ⚙:
 Sometimes, It is important to mix things up. To remain fresh, you may need to adjust your strategy from time to time. This could mean adjusting your strategy and using different channels. Think about how you can use interactive content to engage in different ways.

5) Leverage the power of Technology 🤖:
Finally, pick a new channel and try something new to make your content pop! For example, you can take your webinars and turn them into a podcast. Or, you could start sending text-based emails if you're tired of long, same-like-looking promos.
