There's nothing like seeing your contributions in person. Late in 2021, I submitted writing to be included at the Anchorage Museum's exhibit "Counter Cartographies: Living the Land," and I finally had the chance to see it with my own eyes.

I always tell people my personal guiding principle centers on one word: Legacy. And this, though it's small, is a step toward building just that.

I contributed writing to an exhibit called  "Counter Cartographies: Living the Land" at the Anchorage Museum.

The exhibit approaches mapping through a new lens, by using people's personal stories about landmarks in and around Anchorage (Dena'ina Ełnena) to tell the story of the land.

After two hard years of digging into what mattered most to me as an artist, I submitted my thesis -- The Psychodynamic Sequence -- to my committee at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In the capstone performance, I iterated the internal panic of anxiety and asking for help into a visceral performance experience as part of the thesis show at the end of my tenure as a MFA candidate at the College.
