Really enjoyed organising my second Siemens STEM event in collaboration with Ashby School, this time for Tomorrow's Engineers Week! We hosted 39 students over 2 days, and gave them the opportunity to work as a team to solve some engineering challenges, following the engineering design process, whilst also getting them to think about the project side of things and appreciate the importance of planning πŸ’

It's so rewarding to see them enthusiastic, engaged and learning new things πŸ’‘ It always makes the long days in the run-up worth it!

We also had some wonderful volunteers who shared their experiences from different roles and departments during the speed networking sessions, and also gave them a tour around the site to see some of our assets in action! πŸ’«
I am always blown away by the amount of support I have at work when it comes to events like this, thank you so much to everyone who has volunteered and assisted - hopefully we've inspired some future engineers! πŸ‘·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
