As the first People Ops/HR hire at FundApps, I had the absolute joy of building the people strategy and practices from scratch, including:
🌳 Becoming a Certified B-Corp and 2019 B-Corp Best for the World Honoree
🚀 Tripling the size of the team and expanding globally into new locations
👩🎓 Coaching and developing an awesome bunch of people leaders and watching them grow
💰 Building our first reward and benefits framework which played a critical role in reducing our gender pay gap from 40% to 10% in 2 years
💓 Designing a suite of benefits that truly matter to people, from gender-blind parental leave at 26 weeks full pay, to unlimited volunteering, development and sick leave, to matched donation giving, to a £1000 learning budget with no approvals
💥 Experimenting with leading people practices like ‘Work from anywhere’ and a 4-Day work week
🤗 Having the opportunity to work alongside some truly amazing People Ops folks who I’ll probably end up working for one day!
