This was a very intriguing and insightful read. Information architecture is critical to the way we experience and perceive user interfaces, so the foundational work of creating labeling, navigation, search and organisation systems must be done before one sketches the first wire-frame.

Admittedly IA is a discipline that is dense with technicality, it can often feel like an unfathomable web of arcane mystery and terminology. You would need to be a serious nerd to get excited about things like sitemaps and contextual links.

That is what makes this book so refreshing, that such a technical subject could be explained with clarity, simplicity and wit.

The authors are truly consummate professionals.
