Founded WordCamp Portland, an event bringing together everything WordPress in the Portland area.
Later WordCamp events operated under more structure and guidance from the WordPress Foundation, but as one of the earlier WordCamps, back in 2008 the only support we got was being sent some swag. Brought together speakers and sponsors for a day-long, sold-out event and gathered some attention from folks like WIRED.
