I am starting my 6th year at UC Santa Cruz as a PhD Candidate in computer science advised by Peter Alvaro. My research interest is in the intersection of data management systems, storage systems, programming languages, and bioinformatics. Additionally, I am trying to contribute to the Apache Arrow and Human Cell Atlas communities.

I also enjoy soccer and ultimate frisbee and can't help but play some video games every now and then.
