📖 I'm the upcoming author (2022) of the book titled "Designing Developer Documentation as a Product," which will be published by the Apress Publishing Company.

I’m the primary OSS leader for AsyncAPI Dev Docs and Education 👩🏻‍💻 , hired by Postman to focus solely on the Open-Source (OSS) AsyncAPI initiative and AsyncAPI Dev Docs 📄. Because I work for an OSS project, I also have the honor of being deeply involved in Community Building for AsyncAPI.

👊🏽 I'm also a member of the AsyncAPI Technical Steering Committee (TSC)... The AsyncAPI TSC is responsible for the oversight of the AsyncAPI Initiative. The TSC helps make decisions on a higher level, or when maintainers cannot find a consensus. Maintainers (i.e. committers) can make decisions at a repository/project level.

I am a Latina🇲🇽 that happens to be on the autistic🧠 spectrum. My life changed thanks to getting into tech.👩🏻‍💻 I also have a service dog 🐕‍🦺 named Canela.

Solving technical problems via writing, better communication, teaching technology, and making tech more accessible have given my life greater meaning than I dreamed!

I subscribe to the ‘Docs as Code’ philosophy. 😁

➡️ 8+ years in tech (Full-Stack-ish in NodeJS/React, UI, HTML5/CSS3, Cloud Computing, Open Source, robotics, some Python, and a little bit of hardware)
➡️ 7 years in Docs, Technical Writing/Blogging
➡️ 5+ years in DevRel and DevEx
