All my life, I have coveted annexing my right-brain hobbies advocating the arts and human expression (as an avid artist, reader and writer) with my curious and analytical left-brain attitudes (as a PM, designer and industrial engineer); I found the union in human-centered design thinking, especially with managing and designing product. If Industrial Engineering principles improve systems through operations and manufacturing strategy, why shouldn't we universally redesign how we design to improve the inclusiveness and sustainability of global design socioeconomically and environmentally?
