Based in Niagara, Ontario, Allison is a content specialist and passionate member of the open source community. She has both organized and spoken at local WordCamps (WordPress community). 

A storyteller who got her start as a reporter and editor in print journalism, Allison went on to freelance as a copywriter/content marketer who transformed tech talk into irresistible stories and audience-friendly content. Her talent lies in conducting first-person interviews and incredibly detailed research to set clients apart from the competition. 

These days, she works a 9 to 5 gig, loves taking her camera out for long nature hikes and jumps at the chance to chat about all things community, coworking, content marketing and more.
