An incredible journey where I tried my best to make each founder's life easier. Regarding their business' finances, administrative duties, and strategic thinking, I have tried to deliver the best I could.
I have learned a lot in handling challenges with each of them. But most importantly, I have experienced several approaches to advising. Here is the best approach, the one that ultimately ends up on a fruitful collaboration:
- Be empathetic: truly understanding what your client is going through and how important your help is for them is the first step
- Let your client Shine: make your client succeed by always deeply explaining any concept he struggles with
- Be honest: you can't have always good news, just be honest with your clients and let them know what is going on
