0 to 1k+ followers is easier than what you think 🙈
When I decided to launch Orius, I immediately thought about using the power of social media to grow a community that can help us in building the company.
The goal was simple: go from 0 to 1k active followers within 2 months.
As I love strategic thinking, I put some thoughts on how to get started. Here are the key elements of my thoughts:
- Clearly define who I am targeting: I had a special focus on trying to understand how, and why my target think what it thinks
- Find a common interest to my target: I tried to understand what can bring all these people together. It's pretty much about understanding what they are ready to be engaged in, why and for what price
- Define language's elements: I analyzed the way they used to interact with each other, the keywords used, and even the structure of their sentences
From this preliminary work, I had a clear idea of how to engage with them, on what subject, and why. The rest of the journey was about enjoying the ride as the community grew 😁
