People in my life often introduce me to others as a psychologist with a PhD in sexism. This is one of the many hats I wear as a social psychologist (basically a "people scientist").

I'm a mixed-methods researcher and systems thinker. What that means to me is that I'm curious not just about people, but also the ways that we influence — and are influenced by — the structures, processes, experiences, and social contexts in our lives. I love working across functions & disciplines -- sharing what I know and learning from others' perspectives make me better at what I do.

Curiosity and impact are the two factors that drove the biggest decisions in my life and led me to become the person I am today. I studied psychology because I firmly believe that we must understand ourselves and the root of our problems before we can make meaningful, positive, & sustainable changes.

I channeled my curiosity in grad school to study social justice and resistance to social change, and in my career as a design researcher to create more equitable & inclusive designs through applying psychology and research insights.
