Schönheit vergeht und doof bleibt doof. Deshalb ist es wichtig, so schlau wie möglich zu werden und auch zu bleiben. Für unser neues t3n Magazin hab ich deshalb den Schwerpunkt des lebenslangen Lernens gepitched und bin prompt auf offene Ohren in der Chefredaktion gestoßen. Entsprechend ist dieses Thema auch eines, an dem ich besonders hart mitgearbeitet habe - u.a. mit diesem Essay, das den Titel „Lern doch, was du willst!“ trägt.
Ich liebs wirklich sehr!
Was mir darin wichtig ist zu sagen, ist, dass wir viel mehr entlang unserer Interessen, Fähigkeiten und Neigungen lernen sollten anstatt entlang der Hoffnung, die Anpassungsfähigkeit an die Bedürfnisse des Weltmarktes sicherzustellen. Lern was du willst, denn nur so bleibst du neugierig! Egal, ob Chinesisch oder Getränkemixen. Egal, ob Programmieren oder Yoga. Wenn es Spaß bringt, kommt der Erfolg von alleine meiner Meinung nach!

Beauty fades and stupid remains stupid. That's why it's important to get and stay as smart as possible. That's why I pitched the focus on lifelong learning for our new t3n magazine and the editor-in-chief promptly met open ears. Accordingly, this topic is also one on which I have worked particularly hard - including with this essay entitled “Learn what you want!”.
I really love it!
What is important to me to say in this, is that we should learn much more along the lines of our interests, abilities and inclinations, rather than hoping to ensure, that we are able to adapt to the needs of the world market. Learn what you want, because that's the only way to stay curious! It doesn't matter whether it's Chinese or mixing drinks. No matter if programming or yoga. If it's fun, success comes naturally!
