Making a “self-driving” car!

We got an Intel RealSense stereo camera at work, and to get a sense of how to develop for them I tried to use it and a Raspberry Pi to make a self-driving car. It worked really well.

Stereo cameras have two lenses, so they are really good at understanding depth in images. An option is to use them to make 3d models of objects and landscapes. Another option is to use them on actual self-driving cars - which is what happens in real life (so this tech seemed like a good candidate to sellotape to this toy. )
