Created in collaboration with SST and NuSpace, the Balloon Satellite Programme introduces students to nanosatellites. Student participants are also given an opportunity to build their own balloon satellite. I participated in the event and learnt the ropes to building a balloon satellite, a kind of nanosatellite. Together with three other classmates, we designed, built, and coded the satellite to collect environmental data while streaming live data from the satellite's camera.
