Working to help facilitate the development, technical review and launch of India's Indigenous vaccine for lumpy skin disease. In addition to this, I am also helping The Government of India rope in private manufacturers to produce the vaccine against Lumpy Disease at scale.
Context -
Currently, there is an outbreak of Lumpy Disease in India which has spread over 12 Indian states and Union territories, infecting lakhs of animals and killing several thousand. Around 11.21 lakh cattle have been infected and more than 60,000 have died so far.
