I was super excited for my first Google internship! I vowed to be a sponge for the technical wisdom around me and make the most out of the opportunity I was awarded. 

I was a Tools and Infrastructure engineer for Google Cloud, where I worked on an internal tool to help visualize and debug large systems. I added a plugin to integrate with Pub/Sub services and wrote a feature that summarized debugging information so developers could catch errors more efficiently.

There was no formal survey conducted, but I believe I drank more hot chocolate than any other intern that summer.
