Looking for my first DevRel job!

I know, not the best of times for that 😬 so I could use any help I can get. I have extensive experience as a tech content specialist, strategist and branding consultant. My biggest strength is undeniably writing, but I also have experience with video creation and I’m very comfortable with public speaking (I’m quite entertaining, I’ve been told). I write fast and well in two languages (English and German) and have experience mentoring other writers using constructive editing.

I know how developers tick and understand their workflows — I often say “I speak developer”. But I’m also currently learning to code and loving it. I seem to have a knack for code, as I’ve been an excellent rubber ducky long before I started coding myself. I’m great at breaking complicated things down to make them easier to understand for beginners or even non-tech people. I’m committed to pushing companies to be more diverse and create an inclusive and actively welcoming environment to marginalised people for all sorts.

My clients love working with me and often recommend me to other companies but, alas, I don’t want to be self-employed for much longer (it’s no fun in Germany).

So now I’m looking for gainful employment. Ideally, the job should be (mostly) remote and open to a 75% position (4-day week) at least once onboarding is done. An inclusive company that isn’t full of startup bros would be preferable. 😉 Here’s my résumé. Please, share my post or forward my info to hiring managers, recruiters, your friend at that awesome company, etc. And let me know if you have any questions! Thank you! 😊

DevRel with focus on content, strategy and outreach 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
I’m a startup consultant with 6+ years of experience working with companies on their technical brand. My work is situated at the intersection of tech, marketing and product. Instead of quick fixes, I want to create long-term, sustainable change that creates brand loyalty, both internally and externally.

I also run Taboola Rasa, a mental health awareness project that seeks to erase the stigma connected to mental health experiences. And I’m currently learning to code.

I enjoy giving talks on topics such as mental health, inclusive language, and how we can foster more diversity in tech.
