Entrepreneur | Collaborator | Builder | Adventurer | Dog Dad

 
As much as I hate the word “entrepreneur,” building things has been in my blood since I can remember. I created my first business in my single mother’s kitchen at 10. Over the decades since, I have worked for and grown startups, schlepped through the trenches and minefields of the corporate world, bought, grew, and sold a 12-unit franchise, consulted with organizations, and now, with the help of my business partner, have opened my second and third business. I have deep people and business ops experience and equally deep feelings on how most companies approach these functions. Spoiler alert: if you don’t treat your team well, you’re already failing, and if you aren’t mindfully investing in your operational infrastructure, your grave is dug. 
 
I am currently building out two businesses: one is a new consumer brand specializing in home organization products, which are sold on e-comm platforms, and the other is a fintech solution that will revolutionize the way investing, saving, taxes, and estates are managed. 
 
I enjoy writing but am a more skilled editor. I am learning Adobe’s creative suite of programs. I dream about the nuances of acrylic. I strongly believe in sound design and aesthetics; my marketing skills are evolving, and I enjoy creating content for our projects. I should have an honorary JD with all the contracts I have made, negotiated, and edited. I have an incredible dog; we love to be outside, adventuring whenever possible. Travel is necessary, and I’ve been to 15 countries and counting; last was India (12/22), and next is Israel (5/23).
 
It is all fascinating and keeps me busy, entertained, and fulfilled. I’m always open to connecting with those who are like-minded. So feel free to say hello. I don’t bite.
