Key Glock- Yellow Tape album.
I was a fan of Key Glock since his 2nd mixtape “Glock Bond”. I wanted to do some A&R work for him, my homie Big Noah put me in contact with Key & his road manager Dion. I sent Key some beats but never heard from him, I left LA to go back home to clear my mind after the passing of Nipsey Hussle and just reset from the music related stuff. I randomly get an email from Glock one day saying he used this beat and he asked for my number. He FT me and said we should lock in and keep working. We did & I ended placing 4 records on this project called “Yellow Tape” it’s Glock’s biggest project to date and sold 30k first week independently and was the #1 billboard album on the indie charts that week. My biggest career accomplishment as an Independent A&R at the time.
