What everyone's up to

Started a book club
Some of my coworkers expressed an interest in starting a reading routine.

So we are starting a book club!

For September, we will read, "Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us" by Daniel H. Pink.

I have always wanted to be in a book club and I am excited about our future discussions. We plan on reading a variety of genres to keep things fun.

Started the #TechBookClub community after suggesting on Twitter if a monthly book read and discussion would be a good idea.

Created a Book Club
In September of 2018, I created the Fantasy & Sci-Fi Lovers Book Club through Meetup.com. Through this group, I have met a many interesting and wonderful people. (If you're in the Burlington, VT area and the genre appeals to you, feel free to join us!)

I now co-organize this club with one of the club's core members who has been with us from its early days. I'm very thankful to say that the pandemic has not killed the group's spirit and we continued to thrive using Zoom--until recently when in-person meetings resumed.
Started a book club
Along with a colleague at work, I am starting a book discussion group about race and racism, to help white people learn how to be better allies without placing additional burdens on our Black colleagues, friends, and family.

Is anyone else doing this? How is it going?

Books that make it into the discussion range from feminist to fiction, productivity, tech, and more.
