Legitimately shocking positive drug tests are rare in the cycling world, but we got one this week. Even more shocking—how badly the athlete in question (and her support team) dealt with it.

A deeper dive into Strava's accessibility (or lack thereof). As much as I don't want to make myself that guy who keeps Strava honest, that does seem like a space very much in need of an occupant.

If you're a Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud dev, you know that platform's documentation can be a real source of agony. Lost a few hours today to trying to find/implement a feature because of two really big misses:

  • Inconsistent style ("cutoff" vs "cut-off") and poor fuzzy searching made it effectively impossible to find in the docs, and

  • Once I did stumble across it, the feature was "documented" with effectively no instruction for practical use—certainly not a code sample.

Fortunately SF tends to be an understanding and productive partner, so as a constructive feedback provider, I patiently and optimistically presented a detailed record of my issue, with receipts, to one of our Commerce Cloud contacts. Fingers crossed!
