When I think about Hackathon, I think about the K-drama series – Start Up. And, in my own IRL experience, it was pretty epic! I had the idea of launching a sustainable activewear brand and was weighing the odds of success prior to kickstarting it. 

I have a friend who's pretty much like an Entrepreneur wizard explored the worlds of opportunity this idea had and pushed for us to join a hackathon hosted by Reapra. And little did we know, Aphy Active was shortlisted as Top 20 out of the hundreds of entries in a SEA Hackathon for female-founded businesses fronted by reputable VC house, Reapra, and their partner, Future Females Singapore. 

We were in a digital pitch presentation that was live-streamed on various social platforms. This gave us the opportunity to thoroughly learn and firm up our business idea with experts of the field and modern millionaires of our age. Being one of the youngest and strongest team, this experience shaped some business values and the mentorship sessions were invaluable. 

So hello world, Aphy Active in now in the works and we can't wait to share it!
