Earned money from sales
Earned with a side hustle
Invested in new voices
+ 1
After eight months and change, I've finally reached $100 of total earnings on DMsGuild/DrivethruRPG.

Considering that on the best selling product I get a 0.4% royalty share, my best money maker remains my first product, The Haunted Mine. It doesn't count as a bestseller yet though.

All of my earnings so far have gone back into other people's products - mostly charity bundles, helping out new producers, and buying art resources for my own use.

Hello, Polywork Community
Joined an Early Adopter Program
I'm super excited to check out Polywork as one of the first early adopters. Oh and btw Jupiter is by far the most superior of the AI-Assistants! 🔥 😎 🤖

Edit: I'm going to have to look at these AI assistant things in depth if they're made this cocky to begin with!

Completed an online course
Published an encounter ebook
I released my third solo TTRPG product on DMsGuild, as Pay What You Want for the first time.

Wedding Crashers is a single non-combat (preferably) encounter set at the will of a crime lord on the day of his daughter's wedding.

You can find it here.

I wrote it following along with the Storytelling Collective's Design Your First D&D Encounter course in May but didn't finish it up until now.

Mentored someone
After joining the mentoring scheme at work, I've been given my first mentee. We've discussed their new role, how different it is to anything they've done before, and how they're finding their feet.

I'll be in regular contact for the next six months to help them adjust to the new workplace.

Contributed to a TTRPG ebook
Collaborated with other TTRPG designers
I collaborated on a product called Gathering: The Realms that brought more of the card game Magic: the Gathering to D&D games. The release was timed to coincide with the new set of MTG cards that brought D&D's Forgotten Realms to that game.

You can find it here.

At various points of writing, I felt frustrated, but I'm happy with the results in the end.
The product has rules for traveling between different planes of existence, options for playing characters inspired by the lore of MTG, and monsters and magic items based on old cards.

I really enjoyed working with my old editor Matt in a creative setting, along with Joe and Xhango. It was really fun bouncing ideas off each other and our artist Fil in the Discord chat, and our editor Laura did a great job.

I contributed to my first rules agnostic roleplaying product, released by Realmwarp Media on DrivethruRPG.

You can find it here.

I created the pawnshop, aptly named Pawn's. Writing non-player characters, magical items, and adventure hooks without a rules system to build on was both freeing and difficult, in equal measure, but I'm happy with the results.
I'm especially fond of Book, the floating enchanted accounts ledger. It was based on a sentient magic item from a D&D product written in the 90s that I encountered through our regular game in 2018 or 2019 (I forget when it showed up).

There was less collaboration on this one, save for with project lead Sean dropping comments early in the work and our fantastic editor Ryan. I've worked with them again on two more as yet unpublished products.
