Leaving my position as a Biology teacher at Nuestra Señora de la Asunción high school was one of my toughest decisions ever.  I was very lucky for having the chance of working side by side with a team of wonderful people, totally devoted to education .

I'm going to miss mi colleagues, but also my students. They come from a complicated socieconomic and familiar situation, so working with them is very challenging and demanding, but also very rewarding. We try to go beyond transmission of knowledge, focusing on obtaining the better version of themselves and trying to become the school in a safe and comfortable area for them. And this is a very extenuating but fullfilling job.

I've grown personally and professionally there. A lot. And a piece of my heart, a big one, will remain there. But it's time to face new challenges and to explore other areas. And I'm so excited for it.
