Started learning to code
Started learning web development on freeCodeCamp!

I technically started learning to code years before this, when I took a Visual Basic course in college to satisfy a math/science elective for my BSE. I didn't get into then, though. I also took a couple Coursera courses in September & October before I started freeCodeCamp, on HTML/CSS and Python. I didn't really fall in love with it, though, and it was hard to think of projects or things to learn. Python felt weird to me, also.

freeCodeCamp helped me get excited about programming. I loved the way I could use HTML & CSS to make visually interesting designs that I could then interact with by using JavaScript. If it weren't for the platform, I may have just abandoned coding altogether.
