Today I graduated from University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a BSE in Spanish, sans licensure.
I no longer wanted to teach high school Spanish, but I wanted to finish my degree program. I'd seen too many people in my family take forever to finish, and I didn't want to take any longer than the 5.5 years I had already taken. I'm proud to have kept my commitment to secure that diploma, regardless of my change in career goals.
