Ran my first half marathon! Tenerife, Canary Islands. I wish I read the route map prior to the race. I wore a pair of road shoes (Nike Reacts) to a mountain trail run. It also rained... a 2-hour race turned into 3 1/2 hours. Learned some valuable lessons that day! 🏃
