Brad's Design Process Overview

After reading my Design Roles, how do they fit together? There is no exact science to getting this 100% correct, but if you follow these steps, no matter how large or how small your team is, you will have the framework that will allow you to succeed.

1) Define the problem

2) Define the goals

3) Brainstorm solutions

4) Define the strengths and limitations of staff

5) Content roadmap and definition

6) Wireframe and sketch ideas

7) Validate ideas with tech, dev, content staff

8) Create low fidelity prototypes

9) Create style tiles

10) Are problems solved and applicable goals met? Test with staff

11) Final content written, defined (categories, static text, photography)

12) Refine the look and feel once prototypes are finalized and styles are set

13) No more features

14) Functional Spec Time

15) Build phase

16) Test and try to break
