New Design – Cafes by Workfrom
In every Cafe, Hosts have the ability to customize it. Design, messaging, add a button, etc. Since launch we've used a sidebar but we are outgrowing it – so I designed something new!
Before
- When inside your space, click "edit" icon next to your logo.
- This opens up a side drawer
- Important things are separated up top
- Secondary options are below in collapsible containers
After
I wanted to keep what's good about our current design. When you change things you can see it reflected in the actual space before saving.
On the new design you go to a new "edit" screen that shows a mockup of your space, but gives more room for the actual editing tools.
I also created tabs to make logical groupings, instead of having one long scrollable section.
The last big change I made was to give you access to the 3 different views (inside, closed door, leave) so that the user can see what their visitors will see in those cases.
