Concluded the first edition of “Books, Utopias, Community. The city that doesn’t (yet) exists”, a community project created by me and other three visionary friends with the aim of organizing cultural events in our neighbourhood - Pigneto: the most intercultural one in the city of Rome (Italy).
Eight thinkers, among which local administrators, philosophers, writers but also representative of local associations have been our guests in four events to discuss the future of our city and how we want to imagine it (and then how we could shape it).
Pulling together small local shops (from an independent bookshop to an Argentinian restaurant), we have promoted synergies and partnerships in the name of culture, in the spirit of solidarity, inclusion and reciprocity.
