Attended DevOps Days in Birmingham, AL this week. Was my first time attending a tech conference in forever. I really enjoyed the opportunity to discuss my day-to-day work with people outside my bubble. I especially enjoyed discussing topics with the speakers. Some key topics for me included gitops and Flux, SLOs, CI/CD tooling, the roles other Infrastructure Engineers play and Observability stacks.
