During the autumn of 2022, the Southwark Council sought help from Nunhead Knocks. They recognized that some families in the area would have to make the tough decision of choosing between feeding their loved ones or warming their homes during the winter season.
In partnership with two other co-founders of Nunhead Knocks, we launched the Nunhead Knocks Cost of Living Community Fund. Our aim was to provide aid to those who are facing financial hardship due to the rising cost of living.
The Cost of Living Community Fund helps people in SE15 and surrounding areas who are struggling with high living expenses. They give out no questions asked £50 grants each month to help with things like food, energy, and medical bills.
The Fund is supported by kind individuals, businesses, and organizations who want to help those in need. The Fund has made a big difference in the lives of the people it helps.
