Something we've been thinking about recently is the challenges around growing from a small start-up with 2 developers to a team of 8. Specifically how our infrastructure and approach to application development should mature with us.
Things like monitoring, benchmarks, threshold alerts and performance maintenance. All the scary stuff that comes with building products that aren't just for show but have business critical functions and processes for our clients.
The journey we're about to undertake is one I'm daunted by. But I'm also excited by all the learning opportunities that come along the way. That first step is the hardest. But I know, with the team around me, those scrolling tickers of data and statistics will soon become a language I can speak and also interpret for others.
