I've been a Microsoftie for most of my career, but at the heart of it has always been the role I'm in most recently: customer success. I've found my sweet spot in helping staff squeeze all the value from the services they already own.
Starting as an instructional designer for Microsoft (Anyone remember the certification course for upgrading from Windows NT 4 to Windows Server 2000? that was me!), I moved into some traditional PM roles. Then I found my way into enterprise social, ran the Yammer network for the company for four years, and finally landed my dream job in my wife's native Scotland.
