Mounting your first solo exhibition during a pandemic is a bit nerve-wracking.  There certainly are tradeoffs.  You lean a lot heavier on your virtual presence, and you can’t have a formal opening.  On the other hand, when you show at a coffee house that’s doing take-out only, you still have people coming in and seeing your work,  but no one is sitting in front of it.

“Random Encounters” was staged at “At Origins”,  my favourite coffee shop north of Bloor in Toronto, from January 6 - February 8, 2021.   Its virtual home is:  https://exhibitions.clfisher.com/random_encounters/
