Showcased artwork
Both of my solo shows this year were during Covid spikes in Toronto.   Surprisingly,  there are advantages to showing during lockdown,  if your venue is a coffee shop doing take-out only.   Yes,  people aren’t going to stand looking at your pieces for a long time, but there is also no one sitting in front of them.

I only had two weeks to put this together, so it was largely a remounting of earlier work.

“Tango Palace” is my favourite coffee shop south of Bloor. They’ve nailed the ambiance, and I really liked the contrast of my pieces with the rough brick walls.

The show ran for the month of April,  and can be viewed at its virtual home https://exhibitions.clfisher.com/random_encounters_1_1/
