I wrote a data-parsing tool to automate a dreadful set of tasks for generating huge spreadsheets. I was amazed when I realized that I'd actually built something truly useful.

Years later I completely rewrote it, and made it more easily accessible by developing it as a full-stack web-app.

In the meantime, I'd also been using Python to make different useful tools which I improve over time! My most frequently-used app is my Discord bot that helps me manage my personal server (and give snark to my friends!)
