Outside of a pub — public transport (trains, buses, trams) and their stations are an excellent vantage spot to observe English behaviour. And I've spent enough time in both of these establishments to observe most of it (mainly in London and surroundings) for half my life. This is a fun read sharing an anthropologist's thoughts and analysis after many hours of research.
