I led the web team at abillion, doubling search traffic volume year-on-year & dropping profile load times over 3X. I'm not afraid of dealing with tech debt & aspire to build high quality software and user experiences. I bootstrapped Piktochart Video, formerly known as Piktostory, with a dream team of just 3 individuals.
I have experience in many verticals, from SEO & mobile to B2B SaaS products and video. User experience matters to me, as does fostering a positive team culture. I’m driven by my ethics to build software that I think matters — sustainability, data sovereignty, and freedom.
In college, I headed the IT club for a year & took on part-time jobs on top of pursuing my studies. In 2016, I lead the development of the SUKMA XVIII website - the Malaysian national games and later on the Paralympics too. My final year project presentation highlighted the use of novel technologies & garnered very positive reception, landing me my first job.
I’m also just a massive nerd. I love Free & Open Source Software and am happily rocking a Nix install & using Linux for over 15 years (that’s over half my age). I got my last job at abillion by reverse engineering their software.
I am looking for a next opportunity. Help me make positive impact ✌️
