As a follow-up to the GGIT Summer Camp, some partner companies offered a few internship positions, including Crunchyroll.
The internship continued on the knowledge that the girls built up during the boot camps and Summer Camps, building a web app using Vue.js and a public API like themoviedb.
The end goal was building a movie discovering web app, with options to search, filter, and bookmark/save them in a list. This also required teaching git, debugging, types of APIs, types of UI(pessimistic vs optimistic) etc.
My responsibilities for the internship included delivering presentations on topics required to implement the app, preparing live demos, assigning tasks, and overall, assisting participants during the internship sessions.
