During the past week I've been chatting with a student from Iran, via the ResearchGate platform. Initially, I must admit, I wasn't sure about the idea of providing online mentorship without actually knowing the person. However, during this past week, we've engaged in nice and fruitful conversations related to her scientific project.

This morning, after answering some technical questions, I received a message from the student telling "you made me confident enough to start my experiments". Now, I feel thankful for having had this opportunity to help someone achieving his/hers/theirs scientific goals.
