When I was 20, I ran my first half-marathon at the Penang Bridge International Marathon on Malaysia’s second-longest bridge. Despite burning muscles, stinging sweats and the occasional protein bar overdose, I kept going. I’m that person. Sure, these short legs of mine were not meant for running, but they were trained for them!
Now, I put that perseverance and resilience in my Product Development and Management role in a bank. I don’t have to run any marathons … but I do have to set goals, work steadily towards objectives and learn to deal with setbacks daily. I’m well-versed in negotiations, organised, adaptable and thrive under pressure.
Outside the bank, I quite literally take the 'n' out of banker and sell my homebaked goods @honest.banker
