I've worked in many different industries, but I don't consider myself a jack-of-all-trades. Rather, I think I'm adaptable to the industry but well-suited for particular roles.
I shine my best in roles similar to project management or focused account management (I want to know my clients' kids' names, not have to pull up a database every time they call). I'm most knowledgeable in any creative or educational field, but I have experience in finance and SaaS, as well.
I don't want to be a cog, but I also don't want to be so heavily relied-upon that taking a day off could derail the whole company.
I'd like a job that matters, but primarily, I am not interested in working with companies that actively make things worse for people, animals, or the climate.
