My daughter's old PC stopped working, so I upgraded it keeping the old chassis and power supply.

New parts are LGA2011 motherboard running XEON E5 2620v2 and 16GB of RAM (a set from Aliexpress) along with old nVidia GT8800XT (got it for free).

The upgrade was really cheap, and the new performance is on par with low Core i7 / mid Core i5 CPUs
