During the 2019 I took part in the Latin American Design Congress, hosted by Universidad de Palermo.
Nataliya Balakyreva and I gave the presentation: "Enhancing cultural identity through Design", in which we introduced ideas on how Design and Culture are intertwined. We see designers as Cultural producers, and as such, in part responsible for the built world (objects, spaces, visuals and experiences) that shape our society. That is why we feel it is important to understand the impact designers have with their work and the implicit responsibility associated with the design practice.
